At Geneina you'll build the computer-vision models that turn greenhouse imagery into early detection of pests, disease, and crop stress — a core part of GeneinaOS. You'll design, train, and deploy image-classification and object-detection models on real greenhouse data, and ship them to run at the edge in the field.

What you'll do: design, train and deploy image-classification and object-detection models for plant-health and pest/disease diagnostics; build data pipelines for labelling, augmentation and continuous retraining on real greenhouse data; work with agronomists to translate plant-science signals into model features; optimise models for edge / low-bandwidth field deployment; and monitor performance in production, closing the loop with new data.
Must have: a degree in CS, Engineering or a related field and strong Python; hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and modern computer-vision architectures; a solid grasp of the full ML lifecycle (data → training → deployment → monitoring); and eligibility to work in Egypt.
Nice to have: experience with agriculture, remote sensing or edge AI; MLOps tooling; Arabic language.
